So, I admit I'm a bit of a sci-fi geek.  I was amazed by the landing of Curiosity on the surface of Mars.  Parties were planned accross the continent, so that people could gather to watch it's descent, and it was cool to see everyone so excited about science and the next step in exploring the universe.  It was amazing to see the video of preliminary still shots that NASA released. Today NASA released the first color photo.

I can't wait to see the high definition shots they're expecting in the coming weeks!
