Back to School is 3 weeks away for most kids and 2 weeks for others. Hard to believe how fast summer has gone. The Back to School sales are underway and will continue right up until Labor Day weekend. It can be a fun time but also a sad time depending on how much your kid loves or doesn’t love school. The new stuff is an exciting part, new clothes, shoes, pens, calculators etc. Sometimes I shop these sales just for me, I have a file cabinet drawer full of duo tangs that I will never use but they were 10 cents each. You can never have enough pens, pencils, erasers, markers (even some of the glitter kind) and of course paper and notebooks. I have tons of notebooks usually bought because of the picture on them, most I’ve used only once but they were cheap. Now of course it’s also about getting stuff for the lunches, food, drinks, snacks, bags or a Twilight Lunch Kit ( I had a black metal one) A listener told me about his  shopping trip this weekend for school supplies and clothes for his kids and he found a great deal on Pop Shoppe Pop. A memory of his younger days, so see I’m not the only one that benefits from Back to School. It’s the most wonderful time of the year!
