Without spending a lot of money on headphones it's really hard to get a pair that not only fit right but that sound right. Headphones on the market right now are meant for Hip Hip, Dance and Top 40 music. In other words lots of bass. For those of us that want to listen to classic rock or the country music fans there hasn't been a headphone speciaically made for those genres. Until now.
There are some headphones hitting the market that are actually specifically created to make country and rock music sound better to the listener. California Headphone Co. is shipping out its first batch of headphones that are designed specifically for country-, alternative- and rock- music listeners.
These new headphones will tone the bass down and be more country friendly. Realizing that country albums outsold rap albums in the U.S. by a crazy 150 percent in 2011, California Headphone's designer and co-founder David Adam is realizing what a big market this could be. "As big as country is, nobody has tapped that," he said.
The headphones are high at $100 and $200, but if it makes the music sound that much better, it may be worth it to many fans.
Music lovers will be able to pick up the specialty headphones at retailers in the United States, United Kingdom, France and South Korea beginning next month. Online, they are exclusively available via the California Headphone website (no products are listed on the website currently).
Crank up the tunes and enjoy!
